J.J. Abrams Unveils First Look at New "Star Trek" Movie.

In cased you missed it, last night on Conan nerd filmmaker extraordinaire J.J. Abrams gave America it's first glimpse of the upcoming highly anticipated sequel to his 2009 reboot of Star Trek. Entitled Star Trek Into Darkness it is set for release on May 17th, 2013 and is currently being finished in post-production. Even without the film being totally complete Abrams was still gracious enough to bring a small clip to the late night talk show. As he explains though Paramount, the films distributor, was none to happy about this so J.J. was only allowed to bring a clip that was 3 frames long. To put that into perspective one second of film is comprised of 24 frames, so the clip is really really short, but hey we still get to see Spock in a volcano in some sort of weird suit. To see for yourself just click here. I know its only a fraction of a second clip but I still can't wait to see this movie. Live Long and....you know the rest.
