New Munsters TV Show Scrapped
Quick somebody ring the "I told you so" alarm. NBC's The Munsters reboot has officially been scrapped before its even aired. Citing creative differences NBC and show creator Bryan Fuller have decided to part ways. Entitled Mockingbird Lane this show was based on the 60's sitcom which starred everyone's favorite family of classic monsters: Herman(Frankenstien's Monster), Lily(nobody was ever really sure), Grampa(vampire), Eddie(werewolf), and plain cousin Marilyn. NBC did spend 10 million dollars on this new pilot though and are hoping to recoup some of that expense as airing the show as a stand-alone Halloween special airing Oct 26th, 8/7c. But don't be too sad for Bryan he still has Hannibal his television show about the origins of Dr. Hannibal Lecter, the cannibal serial killer from The Silence of the Lambs. That is set to air next year. I'm not sure what exactly went wrong with The Munsters reboot but it may have something to do with the fact that for a show about a family made up of classic movie monsters NOBODY LOOKED LIKE AN F-ING MONSTER! Now Mr. Fuller can you please tell me what was supposed to happen on the second season of Wonderfalls?
